Hard BIAB™ by The GelBottle™ is a file-off builder gel in a bottle, featuring the same much-loved texture and convenient built-in brush as the classic BIAB™ shades – but with a stronger, tougher formula. Perfect for situations where you need that little bit of extra strength: think longer nails, heavy hand use or clients prone to breaks and cracks.

This version combines the benefits of a hard gel with the ease of BIAB™: quickly self-levelling, evenly distributing, and easy to apply with the brush.


What makes Hard BIAB™ so special?

  • Strong and durable: Original BIAB™ is a soak-off gel – flexible and ideal for short to medium-length nails. But that flexibility can make it less suitable for longer or weaker nails, or clients who use their hands a lot. HARD BIAB™ is a file-off hard gel. It cannot be soaked off, which makes it stronger and longer-lasting. You get more strength, without sacrificing ease or control during application.
  • Ease of use: Just like Original BIAB™, Hard BIAB™ has a self-levelling texture that’s easy to shape – but with added strength. The product flows out beautifully, follows your brush movements, and allows you to work quickly and with control. You can build a strong, elegant nail structure with minimal filing. Perfect for those who want to work efficiently without compromising on quality.
  • Integrated base: Like the classic BIAB™ shades, Hard BIAB™ contains a built-in primer and bonder. For extra grip or problem nails, you can start with a thin layer of Rubber Base or Bond Base.
  • For extensions, repairs and longer nails: Thanks to its firm structure, Hard BIAB™ is perfect for sculpting extensions, building longer nails or fixing damaged areas.
  • 100% HEMA-free: As you'd expect from The GelBottle™, Hard BIAB™ is completely free from HEMA – ideal for salons that prioritise safer working conditions or have sensitive clients.
  • Made in the UK: Unlike other ranges, Hard BIAB™ is formulated, tested and produced in-house in the UK at The GelBottle™’s own lab. A British-made innovation – crafted with care, backed by science.
  • 20 ml bottle – professional and economical: Hard BIAB™ comes in a 20 ml bottle with brush, enough for 30–45 applications. You get the same packaging and ease of use as the Original BIAB™ line.


Curing time: 99 seconds under The GelBottle™ Light The Way lamp (low heat mode recommended).

Application: See guide

  1. Prep the nail as usual. Cleanse and dehydrate.
  2. Optional: For problem nails, scrub in a thin layer of Rubber Base or Bond Base.
  3. Apply Hard BIAB™ directly from the bottle using the brush. Let the product self-level.
  4. Cure for 99 seconds under The GelBottle™ Light The Way lamp (low heat mode recommended).
  5. Refine if needed, add colour or finish with your preferred top coat.
